The starting point

A website builder is convenient – until you want to leave it

With the big providers you own the content but not the site. Moving means building everything again. The monthly fee keeps running whether you change anything or not.

What Sites produces in the end are ordinary HTML files. You can export them and keep running them on any web space – without us. That is exactly why we built it this way: whoever stays should want to stay, not have to.

Sites runs on its own – but with Live alongside it becomes far more practical day to day. Sites is the workshop for structure, pages and languages. Live is the pencil for the quick correction, right on the finished page.

That way nobody needs back-end training to change a phone number – and nobody can accidentally wreck the layout while rewriting a sentence.
